Responsibilities

In this role, your day-to-day work centres on building and quality-assuring Deal Letters that enable Dealers across Canada to execute product assortments with confidence. You’ll balance high-volume production with strategic leadership, ensuring both quality and timelines are consistently met across all Merchandising lines of business.

  • Own the end-to-end Deal Letter build process across all Merchandising lines of business, covering prioritization, scope alignment, design, creation, and delivery to meet quality and timeline commitments
  • Lead quality assurance for Deal Letters, including peer review of other Line Review Consultants’ work, to ensure integrity, accuracy, and adherence to Line Review Operations standards
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the LRO team — mentor and coach teammates, remove obstacles, and lead mitigation discussions to drive timely issue resolution on complex deals
  • Facilitate pre-Deal Letter kickoffs to validate strategy, assortment details, and special treatments; lead cross-functional execution touchpoints through to completion
  • Build and maintain partnerships with Merchandising, Space Planning, Supply Chain, Translations, Packaging & QA, and Deal Management to resolve or escalate issues efficiently
  • Gather data and compile reporting on Deal Letter performance; lead post-mortems and recommend improvements to quality metrics, on-time mail rates, and execution for future cycles

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate brings a combination of retail and merchandising experience, strong technical proficiency, and the leadership presence to mentor a team while managing complex, cross-functional deliverables.   • University or college degree in business, retail management, communications, or a related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in retail and/or merchandising — including assortment planning, store operations, project management, or communications

  • Advanced Excel and Office 365 proficiency, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, macro development, and complex modelling; experience with VBA and/or Python for automation and reporting
  • Experience creating polished digital documents and communications, with comfort working with images, graphics, and text to produce visually effective materials
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and translate strategic goals into clear, actionable execution plans
  • Highly detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple competing deadlines in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
