This is a full-time permanent position based onsite four days per week at a GTA corporate office (with locations in Oakville, Mississauga, and Toronto). You’ll partner with TA leaders, HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and external vendors to deliver programs and insights that keep Canadian Tire’s talent engine running smoothly. Every deliverable is anchored to a clear outcome — whether that’s improving recruiting speed, strengthening early-career pipelines, or surfacing data that helps leaders make smarter hiring decisions.
You’ll be expected to bring structure to ambiguous, cross-functional work while communicating confidently across all levels of the organization. Benefits and Salary
The broadband salary range for this role is $64,000 – $106,000, with a typical hiring range of $64,000 – $85,000. Final compensation depends on experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Responsibilities
This role covers a wide range of talent acquisition operations and programs. Day-to-day, you’ll be juggling project coordination, data analysis, vendor relationships, and event planning — often simultaneously. - Lead cross-functional TA initiatives including process improvements, pilot programs, and tool enhancements — bringing structure, tracking milestones, and delivering measurable results
- Own global mobility coordination end-to-end in Workday, including work permits, escalations, audit-ready tracking, and external vendor performance management
- Manage key TA vendor relationships (job boards, agencies, tools), leading quarterly business reviews and driving adoption of features that improve quality of hire and candidate experience
- Build and interpret TA dashboards from Workday/HRIS data, translating findings into executive-ready insights that support business decision-making
- Execute recruitment marketing campaigns across platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed, monitoring performance and optimizing for reach, conversion, and cost effectiveness
- Plan and deliver campus and special-project events (on-site and virtual), managing logistics, budgets, swag inventory, and expense tracking end to end
- Design and improve early-career programs (rotational, co-op, intern, new grad) in partnership with HRBPs and hiring managers, including candidate communications and leader-ready presentations
Requirements / Skills
The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in Talent Acquisition operations combined with strong analytical instincts and the ability to communicate clearly at every level of the business. Canadian Tire is looking for someone who can operate independently, handle ambiguity with confidence, and consistently deliver polished, outcomes-driven work.
- 5+ years in Talent Acquisition operations or talent programs, including hands-on global mobility experience and ideally campus/early-careers program ownership
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills — capable of building executive-ready presentations and performing data cleaning, pivot tables, and basic analysis
- Strong communication and influencing skills — comfortable facilitating conversations with recruiters, HR leaders, and senior business stakeholders
- Experience turning talent data into actionable insights, including building recurring reports, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to hiring funnels
- Working knowledge of ATS/HRIS platforms and sourcing tools; Workday experience is a strong asset or demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed corporate environment
