About the Role: Seasonal Delivery Helper

As a Delivery Helper, you’ll work side-by-side with a UPS driver to ensure packages reach their destinations on time and in good condition. Your day will involve continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages at drop boxes and customer locations throughout your assigned route. It’s hands-on, active work that keeps you moving from start to finish.

This position demands efficiency, dedication, and a strong sense of customer service. You’ll also learn and apply UPS package handling methods, which means attention to proper technique is part of the job. You’ll be representing UPS on the front lines, so professionalism matters.

Responsibilities

Working as a Delivery Helper at UPS means being on the move throughout your entire shift. You’ll play a key supporting role in the last-mile delivery process, making sure customers receive their packages efficiently while upholding UPS’s reputation for reliability.

• Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently and effectively at customer locations and drop boxes along a specified route
• Lift, lower, and carry packages continuously throughout the shift, handling items up to 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
• Learn and execute proper UPS package handling methods to ensure safe and accurate deliveries
• Support the Package Driver in maintaining an efficient and timely route
• Represent UPS professionally by adhering to appearance guidelines and demonstrating strong customer service skills

Requirements / Skills

UPS is looking for candidates who are physically capable, dependable, and customer-focused. This role doesn’t require a driver’s licence, but it does call for someone who can keep up in a high-energy, physical work setting and take pride in doing the job right.

• Physical fitness: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. / 32 kgs. consistently throughout the shift
• Flexible availability: Able to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
