About the Role: Warehouse Associate II

As a Warehouse Associate II, you’ll be responsible for the full spectrum of day-to-day warehouse operations. That includes unloading, sorting, picking, kitting, packing, and shipping, as well as cycle counts and managing multiple client accounts. You’ll use PC-based warehouse management systems to track packages, confirm shipments, print labels, and maintain accurate inventory data.

This role involves direct contact with customers and vendors, so clear communication matters. You’ll work under the guidance of a Warehouse Lead or Supervisor and are expected to follow GMP/SOPs, government compliance regulations, and UPS’s Comprehensive Health & Safety Program (CHSP). Responsibilities

The Warehouse Associate II at UPS handles a broad range of warehouse duties that keep freight moving accurately and on time. From the moment product arrives to the moment it ships out, you’ll be involved in every step of the process — playing a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, shipment integrity, and client satisfaction.

  • Receive and inspect inbound product according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Put away product in correct locations and process returns, including counting quantities and confirming condition
  • Pick and verify orders for accuracy — checking product name, size, product code, lot number, expiration date, and quantity
  • Pack and stage outbound shipments securely, attaching appropriate documentation and labelling all cases clearly
  • Create shipping labels and paperwork (waybills, manifests) for parcel and LTL skid shipments; maintain accurate data in the warehouse management system
  • Operate power equipment safely including pallet movers, forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers
  • Use RF Scanners to electronically scan barcodes and update inventory in the WMS
  • Conduct cycle counts daily, weekly, and/or monthly; identify and report OS&D (over stock, shortages, damages)
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email or phone and escalate service issues to the Supervisor as needed
  • Compile daily and monthly client reports per SOP, including customer KPI reports
  • Promote workplace safety and participate in the Comprehensive Health & Safety Program (CHSP) committee

  • Strong attention to detail for order verification, inventory counts, and shipping documentation
  • Background screening clearance — must pass a check covering five years of employment history and residential addresses, with documentation for any employment gaps over 28 days
