Responsibilities

Day-to-day work in the Revenue Recovery department is a mix of physical package handling and precise data verification. Every package that passes through this team needs to be correctly measured, scanned, and billed — and it’s the Package Handler’s job to make sure that happens accurately and efficiently.

Scan, weigh, and dimension packages accurately using approved systems such as NSDS, DWS, and handheld scanners
Identify and correct billing discrepancies including incorrect weights, dimensions, service levels, or missing data
Process packages in compliance with UPS revenue recovery procedures and audit standards
Maintain data accuracy and attention to detail to support revenue integrity across operations
Safely lift, move, push, and position packages following UPS safety methods and ergonomics guidelines
Communicate effectively with Operations, Clerks, and Supervisors regarding exceptions or system issues
Meet or exceed productivity, quality, and valid scan targets each shift
Report damaged packages, irregulars, or system issues promptly to the appropriate team
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
