Responsibilities
As a Retail Sr. Specialist at FedEx, your day-to-day work centres on advancing the company’s retail channel strategy across Canada. You’ll be responsible for both the analytical and executional sides of retail marketing, ensuring that campaigns and programs are well-supported and delivering results. These responsibilities matter because they directly influence revenue growth and the quality of the FedEx retail customer experience nationwide.
- Support the development, implementation, and oversight of retail tactics, campaigns, and strategic initiatives across all FedEx retail location types in Canada
- Contribute to annual retail strategy planning, including revenue growth programs and customer experience plans
- Analyze channel marketing opportunities and problems to develop actionable recommendations using data analysis and optimization techniques
- Monitor volume and revenue goals, as well as retail agent and customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction targets
- Enhance retail agent and customer value through continuous channel improvement initiatives
- Manage aspects of retail projects utilizing strong project management skills and knowledge of retail POS systems
- Apply knowledge of cash flow management and procedures as applicable to retail channel operations

Requirements / Skills
FedEx is seeking a candidate with a solid professional background in marketing, retail, or a related analytical field. The ideal person brings both strategic thinking and hands-on experience with data and project management, and is comfortable working independently while still leveraging guidance from senior leadership. A commitment to continuous learning and maintaining required certifications is also expected.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Strategy & Planning, or a related field
- Minimum four (4) years of professional and/or analytical business experience in Marketing, Sales, Finance, Engineering, FedEx Operations, or retail — experience at the Sr. Specialist or management level is preferred
- Project Management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives
- Data Analysis proficiency to evaluate performance and develop meaningful recommendations
- Retail POS knowledge and familiarity with retail operations environments
- Cash Flow Management understanding and knowledge of related procedures
- Bilingual (English and French) is mandatory for candidates residing in the province of Quebec
- Ability to operate in a PC Windows environment and complete all required recurrence training and accreditations
