About the Role: Replenishment Analyst

As a Replenishment Analyst at Canadian Tire, you’ll develop deep operational expertise across supply chain functions including Operations Planning, Transportation, Distribution, and Inventory Management. You’ll use Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) methodologies to manage inventory levels and respond quickly to demand shifts, ensuring shelves are stocked with the right products at the right time.

This is a cross-functional role that requires both analytical rigour and strong stakeholder collaboration. You’ll negotiate with suppliers, solve problems on the fly, and build relationships across internal teams — all while taking direct ownership of your results. The position also comes with learning and development opportunities, including exposure to senior leaders, designation and certification support, and mentorship programming.

Benefits and Salary

Canadian Tire offers a broadband salary range of $53,000 to $88,000, with a typical hiring range between $53,000 and $70,000, depending on your experience and qualifications. Responsibilities

The day-to-day work of a Replenishment Analyst is fast-paced and varied. You’ll be managing inventory flows, analysing data, and coordinating across multiple teams to ensure product availability across Canadian Tire’s national distribution network. These responsibilities carry real weight — your decisions directly impact the company’s bottom line.

• Manage replenishment for specific product categories, balancing promotional, regular, and seasonal demand
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to negotiate and maintain strong working relationships
• Apply Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) to manage the flow of inventory into Distribution Centres
• Analyse data to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement
• Introduce new products while maintaining and developing existing assortments
• Respond rapidly to changes in demand, solving problems and adjusting strategy on the fly
• Own your metrics — take direct accountability for results, performance, and supply chain outcomes
• Partner cross-functionally with Category Management, Forecasting, Promotions, Operations, and Transportation teams

Requirements / Skills

Canadian Tire is looking for candidates who are comfortable working with data, capable of managing supplier relationships, and eager to grow within a large-scale retail supply chain environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical foundation, some hands-on work experience, and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.

• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering, Math, Business, or Commerce with demonstrated interest in operations and supply chain
• 2+ years of work experience, including Co-op or internship experience in analyst, data-driven, or process improvement roles
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access — a must for this data-heavy role
• Analytical mindset with comfort in data-driven decision-making and working with numbers daily
• Negotiation and consensus-building skills with both internal teams and external suppliers
• Rapid problem-solving ability — able to think on your feet and adapt to shifting priorities
