About the Role: Ramp Handler

As a Ramp Handler at FedEx in Mirabel, your core responsibility is to ensure the safe and timely movement of freight. That means loading and unloading FedEx aircraft and ground vehicles, scanning packages, and transporting freight between the ramp and facility. You’ll be trained and certified to operate a range of ground support equipment (GSE), including tugs, belt loaders, and t-stacking equipment, and you’ll also handle dangerous goods (DG) in accordance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Requirements / Skills

• High school diploma or educational equivalent
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record (two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months)

• Bilingualism (French and English) required for positions in the province of Quebec
• Problem-solving and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly in a team environment
• Time management and organizational skills to stay on top of fast-moving ramp operations
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is considered an asset
