About the Role: Produce Stocker

As a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada, your day-to-day work centres on maintaining a clean, fully stocked, and properly zoned produce section. You’ll rotate stock, check for expired products, ensure correct signage and pricing, and keep the department looking its best. This role also involves following strict cold chain compliance and food handling procedures to meet both Walmart’s standards and regulatory requirements.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $18.05 per hour. Responsibilities

• Zone the department regularly to ensure produce is neatly arranged and easily accessible to customers
• Rotate stock and check for expired or near-expiry products, removing items that don’t meet standards
• Verify signage and pricing to ensure all merchandise is properly labelled and displayed
• Follow cold chain compliance procedures including thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, and proper food handling protocols
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean, safe produce environment
• Process orders, clearances, and markups/markdowns according to established procedures, including signing, flagging, and labelling
• Maintain full stock levels so the department is always ready for business at opening
• Stock merchandise and downstock as applicable, apply product protection where required, and set and complete modulars including flex modulars
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines at all times throughout the shift
