About the Role: Produce Stocker

Responsibilities
Day-to-day work as a Produce Stocker centres on keeping the department fresh, organized, and fully stocked for customers. From managing product rotation to following strict food safety protocols, every task contributes to a safe and appealing shopping experience.
- Zone the department regularly to maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready produce area
- Rotate stock and check for expired or past-date products to ensure freshness and compliance
- Ensure proper signage and pricing on all merchandise throughout the department
- Adhere to cold chain compliance standards including thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, and food handling procedures
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
- Manage ordering and markdowns by following proper procedures for clearance, markups/markdowns, and labelling
- Stock shelves and complete modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf cap setups
- Follow Health and Safety guidelines at all times throughout the workday
