Walmart Canada’s Markham Supercenter is looking for an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate to join their retail team at 5000 HWY 7, Markham, Ontario. This is a regular/permanent hourly position that sits at the intersection of in-store operations and online retail — a growing and increasingly important part of how Canadians shop today.
In this role, you’ll be working behind the scenes to make sure online grocery and merchandise orders are picked, packed, and ready for customers on time. About the Role: OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate
As an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate, your main focus is on fulfilling online customer orders with accuracy and care. You’ll move through different areas of the store — including various temperature zones — to pick and assemble orders, ensuring every item meets Walmart’s quality and freshness standards. From confirming product codes and quantities to affixing correct labels and packing totes efficiently, every step you take contributes directly to customer satisfaction and trust.
Beyond order fulfilment, you’ll also be expected to maintain a clean and safe work area, follow food hygiene protocols, and operate equipment responsibly. You’ll balance fulfilment tasks with occasional customer interaction, helping resolve issues when they arise. Flexibility is key — this role requires availability across a range of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights, as well as weekends and holidays.
Benefits and Salary
The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $18.10 per hour. Beyond your hourly wage, Walmart Canada offers a competitive benefits package that includes stock options, comprehensive health benefits (based on hours or employment status), life insurance, paid time off, a store associate discount, access to the Live Better U education program, EQ Health support, and a Deferred Profit Sharing plan.
