Role of the Principal Technical Program Manager

As a Principal Technical Program Manager at Amazon Shopping Videos, you will own the delivery of technically complex programs that span multiple teams and organizations. You will be responsible for designing and architecting systems that are scalable, reliable, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Your role will involve shaping the organization’s vision for live experiences, driving global expansion, and influencing key stakeholders to align with program goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable systems.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience in system design and architecture (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in roadmap strategy and program definition.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience managing complex technology projects.
  • Experience in building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
