About the Role: Parts Advisor
As a Parts Advisor at Tesla, you will:
- Source parts from Distribution Centers and allocate them to vehicle service appointments.
- Monitor inventory within the parts system and communicate updates to relevant team members.
- Review upcoming appointments to ensure parts are available and properly documented.
- Prepare internal orders for shipment to other service center locations.
- Process and return warranty part shipments for quality assurance, including handling hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries.
- Receive, inspect, and store stock and special-order parts systematically.
- Collaborate across the organization to escalate parts issues and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Transport parts using a van or forklift, engaging third parties when necessary.

Requirements / Skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain strong working relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and achieve common goals.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new systems and tools.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs., sit, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to identify parts, operate systems, and ensure safety in the parts department.
