About the Role: Logistics Support Analyst
The Logistics Support Analyst is responsible for supporting the timely and cost-efficient movement of goods within the distribution centre environment. Day-to-day, you’ll conduct analysis on transportation processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and participate in planning for peak volume periods. You’ll also be measuring service performance and validating results to ensure the operation meets both internal and external expectations.

Responsibilities
As a Logistics Support Analyst, your daily work centres on keeping transportation processes efficient and data-driven. You’ll support both the client and the operations team by providing meaningful analysis, resolving operational issues, and contributing to strategic planning efforts that keep the distribution centre running smoothly.
- Provide analysis and support to the client and the Operations Department within the Distribution Centre
- Ensure adherence to timely, cost-efficient transportation processes and assist with problem-solving activities
- Review and analyse transportation carrier capacity planning to meet company shipping requirements
- Monitor daily operations, including special service requirements, problem resolution, and month-end execution
- Participate in strategic planning for peak period volume demands, trailer targets, and carrier performance expectations
- Present data and solutions to both internal and external customers in a clear and professional manner
- Create custom reports using MS Office programs for presentation to the client and Operations Management
Requirements / Skills

- Knowledge of distribution and transportation principles, including traffic and carrier management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers
- Time management and multi-tasking abilities with a proven capacity to handle high volumes of work and meet deadlines
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs and work throughout a warehouse environment
