Package Handler Part Time – FedEx – Brantford, ON

FedEx is hiring a Part-Time Package Handler at their Brantford, Ontario facility. About the Role: Package Handler (Part Time)

As a Package Handler at FedEx Brantford, your core responsibilities involve the loading and unloading of freight, as well as scanning and sorting packages within the facility. You’ll also be responsible for transporting freight both within the building and between locations, which is why a valid Class G driver’s licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete all mandatory training and maintain annual accreditations where applicable
• Operate in a PC Windows environment as needed during your shift
• Adhere to FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations

Requirements / Skills

FedEx is looking for dependable, physically capable individuals who can work efficiently in a team setting. The right candidate will be comfortable with early morning hours and committed to maintaining a strong attendance record.

• Valid Class G driver’s licence with a clean driving record (no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months)
• Physical fitness to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with equipment
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset
• Ability to work varying shifts based on business needs when required
