About the Role: Package Handler/Non-Driver

As a Package Handler, your primary duties centre on the physical movement of freight through the facility. You’ll be loading and unloading freight, scanning packages, and sorting shipments to ensure everything gets to where it needs to go accurately and on time. This is the backbone of FedEx operations, and accuracy here matters at every step.

You’ll also be expected to complete all required basic and recurrency training, operate in a PC Windows environment, and maintain any applicable annual accreditations. Shift schedules may shift based on operational needs, so flexibility is essential. Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from trailers and vehicles at the facility
• Scan packages accurately to ensure proper tracking throughout the system
• Sort freight within the facility based on destination and routing requirements
• Operate equipment as needed to manoeuvre packages weighing up to 150 lbs
• Complete training including all basic and recurrency programs, maintaining accreditations as required
• Operate in a PC Windows environment for scanning and data entry tasks
• Adapt to shift changes based on operational and seasonal demands, including earlier start times during peak periods

Requirements / Skills

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is considered an asset
• Availability for early morning shifts, Monday to Saturday, with flexibility during peak periods
