Package Handlers may also be assigned to specialized roles such as Package Handler Trainer — responsible for training fellow PHs on safe and efficient handling techniques — or Package Handler – Air, which involves a multi-step inspection process to ensure air-restricted packages are handled in compliance with regulations.
Working at a FedEx facility means following strict safety standards at all times. You’ll be working in an environment with variable temperatures and elevated noise levels, so physical readiness and attention to safety protocols are key. Teamwork and clear communication with your fellow package handlers and supervisors are essential to keeping the sort running efficiently shift after shift.
