Responsibilities
Day-to-day, a UPS Package Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently moving parcels between the depot and their final destinations. These responsibilities require physical stamina, sharp attention to safe driving practices, and a professional attitude with every customer interaction.
- Deliver and pick up packages to and from residential and commercial properties throughout the Charlottetown area
- Execute UPS safe driving methods by learning and consistently applying the company’s transportation safety standards
- Handle packages physically through continual lifting, lowering, and carrying throughout the shift
- Practise safe transportation methods while travelling to and from all delivery and pickup destinations
- Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient service and a professional, dedicated approach at every stop
