Responsibilities

The day-to-day work of a Package Car Driver at UPS centres on safe, efficient delivery and pickup of parcels. Every task you carry out — from loading your vehicle to greeting a customer — contributes directly to UPS’s reputation for dependable service.

  • Deliver and pick up packages to and from residential and commercial properties on your assigned route
  • Learn and execute UPS safe driving methods consistently throughout every shift
  • Lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs./32 kgs. as part of regular duties
  • Practise safe transportation methods while travelling to and from all destinations
  • Provide excellent customer contact to ensure a positive delivery experience at every stop
  • Comply with UPS appearance guidelines to maintain a professional image in the field
  • Work five days per week, maintaining availability Monday through Friday
