About the Role: Package Driver FT
As a Package Driver at UPS, your primary responsibility is the delivery and pickup of packages to and from homes and businesses. The work is hands-on and physical — you’ll be lifting, lowering, and carrying packages throughout your shift, sometimes up to 70 lbs (32 kg). Responsibilities
Day to day, a UPS Package Driver is the face of the company on the road and at the door. From navigating routes efficiently to handling packages with care, each responsibility plays a direct role in keeping customers satisfied and operations running smoothly.
- Deliver and pick up packages to and from residential and commercial locations throughout Charlottetown
- Learn and execute UPS safe driving methods as trained and required
- Lift, lower, and carry packages throughout the shift, including items weighing up to 70 lbs / 32 kg
- Practise safe transportation methods when travelling to and from all delivery destinations
- Maintain professionalism by adhering to UPS appearance guidelines at all times
- Provide excellent customer service through efficiency and a dedicated, courteous approach at every stop
