Manager, FP&A – Real Estate – Canadian Tire – Toronto, ON
Location: Toronto, ON | Company: Canadian Tire
Canadian Tire Corporation is one of Canada’s most recognized and trusted companies, and its FP&A team plays a central role in shaping strategic decisions across the business. This Manager, FP&A – Real Estate position in Toronto, Ontario is a high-impact finance leadership role for someone ready to connect the numbers to real business outcomes within one of CTC’s most complex and strategic portfolios.
Reporting to the AVP, FP&A, Mark’s and Real Estate, this role puts you at the intersection of financial planning and analysis, real estate strategy, and cross-functional leadership. You’ll own forecasting, drive planning cycles, lead a team of analysts, and play a direct role in modernizing how financial insights are built and communicated across the organization.
About the Role: Manager, FP&A – Real Estate
As the Manager, FP&A – Real Estate, you’ll take ownership of the Real Estate P&L and balance sheet planning process — covering everything from occupancy costs and lease economics to capital investments, cost capitalization, and intercompany transactions. You’ll prepare monthly and quarterly performance reporting that translates data into clear narratives for senior leaders, highlighting risks, opportunities, and performance drivers in a way that informs decisions rather than just documents them.
This is also a people leadership role. You’ll coach and develop a team of analysts, set clear priorities, and foster a culture built on curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement. Alongside managing your team, you’ll be expected to build strong partnerships across Real Estate, Finance, and Accounting — working collaboratively to ensure plans and forecasts reflect what’s actually happening in the business. A commitment to automation, standardized modelling, and scalable reporting tools is a key part of how this role will evolve FP&A’s contribution.
