About the Role: Manager, Enterprise Retail Capability
The Manager, Enterprise Retail Capability leads a team of Associates and Senior Consultants while overseeing the end-to-end delivery of retail capabilities that support operational excellence and strategic priorities. You’ll guide capability development, process re-engineering, and cross-functional alignment across Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, Pricing, UX, Tech, and Data teams. The scope spans SaaS vendor coordination, internal build projects, sprint ceremonies, UAT, go-live activities, and ongoing post-launch monitoring.
Success in this role depends on strong organizational leadership, sharp communication, and a structured approach to managing risks, issues, and prioritization. You’ll be regularly reporting on project status to senior management and building the frameworks — SOPs, decision matrices, workflow documentation — that keep delivery on track and adoption moving forward.
Benefits and Salary
Canadian Tire offers a broadband salary range of $79,000 – $131,000 CAD, with a typical hiring range between $79,000 and $105,000 CAD. Compensation is informed by experience, market conditions, internal equity, and role-specific factors. Responsibilities
This role sits at the intersection of project execution, team leadership, and enterprise capability delivery. Day-to-day, you’ll be coordinating across business and technology functions, running workshops, managing sprint ceremonies, and keeping a portfolio of workstreams on schedule. These responsibilities are broad and require both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery discipline.
- Lead and manage a team of Associates and Senior Consultants within the Retail Capability Enablement and Product Support functions
- Develop strategic plans for capability development, implementation, sustainment, and continuous delivery
- Oversee documentation of future-state business requirements and support process re-engineering efforts
- Ensure alignment across Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, Pricing, UX, Tech, and Data teams throughout delivery
- Manage prioritization and execution of workstreams and key deliverables within project plans
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to map current-state processes and define future-state requirements
- Guide development of SOPs, decision matrices, and workflow documentation
- Collaborate with UX, Tech, and Data teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Coordinate vendor and internal team activities for both SaaS and in-house capability builds
- Oversee sprint ceremonies, UAT, go-live activities, daily standups, and cross-functional sync meetings
- Monitor post-launch performance, gather feedback, and document enhancement requests as actionable backlog items
- Track capability maturity across markets and functions, and provide regular project status updates to senior management
Requirements / Skills
The ideal candidate brings solid experience in capability development or product management, combined with a strong track record of leading teams through complex project lifecycles. - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field (Master’s degree is an asset)

- Proven team leadership through successful project lifecycles
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
