About the Role: Manager, ENT Industry Solutions Architecture

As the leader of this team, you’ll be responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives — including cloud migration and content delivery optimization — for major enterprise accounts. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Partner teams to execute customer acquisition strategies while also overseeing the development of high-value thought leadership content such as whitepapers and executive briefing materials.

This is a role that requires both technical depth and organizational leadership. You’ll manage performance reviews, career development, and hiring for your team, while also fostering a culture of continuous improvement through clearly defined KPIs and a strong coaching mindset. For the Montreal location, bilingual proficiency in French and English is required given the global and cross-provincial nature of the work.

Benefits and Salary

AWS offers a comprehensive total compensation package that includes a base salary ranging from $163,300 to $236,700 CAD annually (for both Toronto and Montreal locations), sign-on payments, and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, and basic life & AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being.

Responsibilities

This role demands a strategic and hands-on leader capable of operating at both the executive and technical levels. Day-to-day, you’ll be guiding your team’s delivery of deep cloud expertise to enterprise clients while also steering broader organizational initiatives that drive AWS’s growth across key industry verticals in Canada.

  • Lead and develop a team of Solutions Architects focused on Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction, Real Estate, and Professional Services enterprise accounts
  • Drive performance management, recruitment, and career development for all team members
  • Develop and execute technical strategies for major accounts, ensuring alignment with both customer goals and AWS business objectives
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, and Training teams to execute customer acquisition programs
  • Build and maintain technical relationships with customer executives and key decision-makers
  • Measure and optimize team performance using clearly defined KPIs
  • Guide digital transformation initiatives including cloud migration and content delivery optimization for enterprise clients
  • Support executive briefings and technical deep-dive sessions with senior stakeholders
  • Oversee development of whitepapers, presentations, and high-value content that shares best practices with customers and feeds directly into AWS’s product and services roadmap

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate is a technically accomplished senior leader who has spent years at the intersection of cloud architecture and enterprise strategy.   • 10+ years of experience in sales, technical pre-sales, product development, or customer-facing technical roles
  • 6+ years of experience managing technical teams such as solutions architects, sales engineers, or equivalent roles
  • Cloud architecture expertise — proven experience designing and operating solutions on AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, or other cloud platforms
  • Enterprise leadership experience working with large-scale organizations and high-growth companies
  • Bilingual (French/English) required for the Montreal/Quebec location due to cross-provincial and global interactions
  • Asset: Experience with cloud migration, transformation, or modernization of customer workloads
