About the Role: Letter Carrier – Delivery Agent

Responsibilities

As a Letter Carrier, your day is structured around getting the right items to the right people on time. From depot prep in the morning to route deliveries throughout the day, each task plays an important role in keeping Canadian communities connected.

  • Sort and prepare the day’s mail and parcels at the depot before heading out on your route
  • Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle safely and responsibly
  • Deliver mail and packages by foot or by vehicle to customers along your assigned route
  • Work outdoors for the majority of your shift in all types of weather conditions
  • Return to the depot to unload incoming mail and packages for later delivery
  • Represent Canada Post professionally as the face of the organization in your community

Requirements / Skills

Canada Post is looking for dependable, physically capable individuals who can commit to an on-call schedule and represent the organization with professionalism. If you have a clean driving record and enjoy working in an active, outdoor role, you’ll be well-positioned for this opportunity.

  • Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence with a safe driving record for at least 3 years (driver’s abstract required)
