Amazon’s Project Kuiper is seeking an Integration Technician II to support its mission of delivering global broadband access via a satellite constellation in low Earth orbit (LEO). In this role, you will be responsible for the integration and testing of Kuiper satellites and their subassemblies, ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety, and system performance.
With your hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical hardware, you will perform key tasks such as using precision tools, reading engineering drawings, and conducting functional and environmental tests. This role also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing engineers, to develop and improve processes for satellite production, contributing to the success of a project that aims to transform global connectivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Integrate and test Kuiper satellite hardware in a cleanroom environment.
- Use precision tools such as torque wrenches, multimeters, and optical inspection devices.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop and document manufacturing processes.
- Perform functional and environmental tests on satellite units.
- Ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout the assembly process.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation to guide assembly tasks.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly, testing, or installation.
Preferred Qualifications
Amazon prefers candidates who also possess the following qualifications:
- Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or high-reliability industries.
- Familiarity with working in a fast-paced production environment and cleanroom settings.
- Proficiency with forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
Compensation & Benefits
The starting pay for this role is up to $33.50/hour in Washington State. Amazon provides a full range of benefits, including medical, financial, and more, from the first day of employment.
