About the Role: Hub Associate

As a Hub Associate at UPS, your primary focus is keeping the package tracking and inventory systems accurate and up to date. You’ll be scanning premium service packages, processing Dangerous Goods (DG) package recovery, and completing the overgood process and documentation. You’ll also generate recovery reports for Hub Operations and Package Care, ensuring full visibility across the facility.

Beyond the technical duties, this role involves maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment, operating office equipment and software, and working collaboratively with dispatch and operations teams. This position pays between $18.15 and $19.13 per hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit every Friday. Benefits kick in after 60 working days of service and include vision, health, and dental coverage. Responsibilities

Day to day, the Hub Associate plays a critical role in keeping UPS’s package flow accurate and compliant. From processing recoveries to generating operational reports, each task directly supports the efficiency and integrity of hub operations.

  • Complete the package and inventory recovery process to ensure no shipments fall through the cracks
  • Process the overgood procedure and complete all required documentation accurately
  • Generate package recovery and overgood reports for Hub Operations and Package Care teams
  • Handle Dangerous Goods (DG) package recovery following all applicable protocols
  • Scan premium service packages and validate delivery information using UPS systems
  • Operate all office equipment, software, and devices required for hub administration
  • Support dispatch and update package inventory systems in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times

Requirements / Skills

UPS is looking for a reliable candidate who is comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment and brings solid organizational skills to the table. Prior hands-on experience combined with strong computer literacy will set you apart in this role.

  • 1+ year of warehouse experience is required — familiarity with hub or logistics environments is a strong asset
  • Physical capability to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg) unassisted; typical packages range from 25–35 lbs
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office (required for report generation and data entry)
  • Problem-solving and multitasking abilities to handle competing priorities during busy shifts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and operations teams
  • Availability Monday through Friday for all five days of the week, with flexibility on shift end times
