Walmart’s Strathroy location is hiring a Part-Time Grocery Associate to join their in-store team. About the Role: Grocery Associate (Part-Time)

This position sits within the grocery department and covers a range of essential retail functions. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the department, ensuring shelves are fully stocked, and upholding food safety and handling standards. You’ll also support merchandising tasks like setting modulars and applying proper signage and pricing.

Benefits and Salary

This position starts at a minimum rate of $17.75 per hour. Responsibilities

A Grocery Associate at Walmart keeps the department organized, stocked, and customer-ready at all times. The responsibilities below reflect the daily and ongoing tasks that ensure the grocery floor operates efficiently and safely.

• Zone the department to maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable grocery section
• Rotate stock and check for expired products to uphold freshness and food safety standards
• Ensure proper signage and pricing so merchandise is correctly labelled and easy for customers to navigate
• Adhere to food safety and handling procedures, including sanitation and cleaning protocols
• Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and labelling
• Stock merchandise and downstock as applicable, applying product protection where required
• Set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe environment for associates and customers
