About the Role: General Merchandise Associate

Responsibilities
Working as a General Merchandise Associate at Walmart means wearing several hats throughout your shift. From stocking and zoning to customer service and floor coverage, every task you complete contributes directly to the shopping experience customers expect each time they walk through the door.
- Deliver customer service by greeting shoppers, helping them locate products, assisting with purchase decisions, and resolving concerns as needed

- Follow safety and compliance protocols, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring fixtures and displays are secure
- Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on store needs
- Manage physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
