Responsibilities
Working in Costco’s Food Court means you’re at the heart of the member experience, preparing quality food and keeping the space clean and welcoming. The responsibilities span food preparation, customer service, cash handling, and general upkeep — requiring both speed and attention to detail throughout every shift.
- Prepare hot food items including rolling, shaping, topping, and baking pizzas, as well as steaming hot dogs and operating deep fryers
- Process sales transactions by ringing up orders, collecting payment, and making change accurately
- Take and assemble orders from members at the counter and over the phone, presenting them correctly and promptly
- Dispense and maintain dessert and drink items such as frozen yogurt, lattes, and smoothies, and service the dispensing machines
- Clean and sanitize machines, work surfaces, counters, pans, utensils, and floors throughout the shift
- Maintain the dining area by bussing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying trash receptacles
- Pull and stock ingredients and supplies from the warehouse to shelves, cooler, and freezer as needed
- Follow health codes related to sanitation, temperatures, product rotation, and expiration dates
Requirements / Skills
