About the Role: Food Counter Attendant

As a Food Counter Attendant at Tim Hortons #1497, your responsibilities span both customer service and kitchen support. Responsibilities

Working as a Food Counter Attendant at Tim Hortons means wearing a few different hats throughout your shift. From greeting and serving customers to keeping the kitchen and dining area spotless, your contributions directly affect the experience guests have every time they walk through the door.

• Take customers’ orders at the counter and ensure accuracy before fulfilling them
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items for counter and buffet-style service
• Portion and wrap foods and package take-out orders for guests
• Serve customers at counters and replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs throughout the shift
• Operate dishwashers and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand as needed
• Sanitize kitchen surfaces, cupboards, appliances, storage areas, and equipment
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors and remove kitchen garbage and trash
• Keep records of the quantities of food used and place dishes in proper storage areas
