About the Role: Flex Driver

In this position, you’ll be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of packages across pre-assigned routes in the Don Mills area. Before heading out, you’ll review orders to confirm accuracy, then load or unload your vehicle as needed. On the road, you represent FedEx directly to customers, so a professional and courteous attitude is essential every step of the way.

This is a casual position with hours and days of work determined by business requirements. Drivers must be prepared to work Monday to Friday with start times at 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, or 10:00 AM, and Saturdays with start times at 7:15 AM or 8:50 AM. Weekend availability is required. All drivers are expected to complete mandatory training and maintain any required accreditations.

Responsibilities

As a Flex Driver at FedEx Don Mills, your day revolves around safe, on-time package delivery and maintaining a high standard of customer interaction. Each shift requires focus, efficiency, and the ability to adapt as conditions on the road change.

• Deliver packages to predetermined customers along assigned routes in a timely and professional manner
• Review delivery orders prior to departure to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Load and unload the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently at the start and end of each shift
• Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery stop, representing FedEx positively
• Complete mandatory training including pre-placement driver assessment and all recurrency training as required
• Operate in a PC/Windows environment and use FedEx systems as part of daily workflow
• Maintain a clean driving record with two or fewer violations or accidents in the 24 months prior to application

• Strong time management and organizational skills to handle routes efficiently
• Ability to multitask and handle stress in a demanding, high-pressure work environment
• Weekend availability required in addition to weekday flexibility
• Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations is considered an asset
