About the Role: Flex Driver-2

As a Flex Driver-2 with Federal Express Corporation Canada, your primary focus is getting packages to customers safely and on time. You’ll be the face of FedEx on the road, so strong customer-facing skills are essential.

This is a casual/on-call position, meaning hours and days of work will be determined based on business requirements. You’ll need to be adaptable, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. All drivers must pass mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training and maintain any required accreditations throughout employment.

Benefits and Salary

Responsibilities

Day-to-day, a Flex Driver-2 at FedEx is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of packages along predetermined routes. These responsibilities require both physical capability and a customer-first mindset, as you’ll be representing FedEx at every doorstep.

• Deliver packages to predetermined customers on specific routes in a timely and professional manner

• Complete mandatory training and pass pre-placement driver assessment requirements

Requirements / Skills

FedEx is looking for candidates who are dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with minimal supervision on the road. A background in customer-facing work is a definite asset, and a clean driving record is non-negotiable for this role.

• Valid full G licence / Class 5 driver’s licence is mandatory for this position
• Driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents in the past 24 months
• High school diploma or educational equivalent required
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs as part of the daily physical demands of the role
• Customer service experience of at least one year preferred
• Strong time management and organizational skills to handle a delivery route efficiently
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment
• Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations is considered an asset
