This role is hands-on and varied — you’ll split your time between the dispatch office and the UPS yard, helping ensure that trailer inventory, driver assignments, and load movement all run on schedule. You’ll work closely with the Feeder Supervisor and Feeder Operations team to keep the operation running smoothly across multiple shift windows, Monday through Friday.

About the Role: Feeder Yard Control Associate

As a Feeder Yard Control Associate, your core purpose is to support UPS Small Package dispatch activities and ensure services are delivered on time and efficiently. You’ll assist with dispatch planning, monitor load movement, verify trailer inventory, and coordinate drivers with load volume. A portion of each shift involves physically going out onto the yard to confirm equipment locations — so you’ll need to be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Beyond the yard, dispatch office administration is a key part of the job. You’ll answer driver queries, manage phone and radio communications, receive invoices, and generate standard operational reports. This position also plays a supporting role in driver performance evaluations, hazardous materials audits, and employee development planning — making it a well-rounded role for someone looking to grow within the logistics industry.
