The broadband salary range for this position is $79,000 – $131,000, with a typical hiring range of $79,000 to $105,000. Compensation is determined based on experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Responsibilities
This position places you at the centre of large-scale technology program delivery, requiring you to balance strategic oversight with day-to-day coordination. Your work will directly influence how store technology initiatives are planned, executed, and closed out across Canadian Tire’s retail network.
- Develop a comprehensive program plan that defines objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements
- Engage stakeholders including executives and business sponsors, maintaining regular communication to manage expectations and ensure alignment
- Establish governance structures such as steering committees or advisory boards to provide program oversight and guidance
- Coordinate and allocate resources across multiple squads within the program to support delivery commitments
- Identify and assess risks, developing mitigation plans and escalating concerns as needed
- Monitor squad delivery progress, tracking KPIs and milestones to ensure program health
- Oversee change management related to program scope, schedule, and budget
- Facilitate program closure upon successful completion of deliverables
- Provide training and guidance to team members across squads to establish consistency and best practices
Requirements / Skills
The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in program and delivery management within a technology context, and is comfortable navigating both Agile and enterprise planning environments. - Financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, accruals, invoice management, and variance analysis
- Scope management experience with MVPs, epics, stories, releases, and milestones
- Resource planning capabilities using both FTE and partner resources to deliver on defined scope
- Risk management proficiency — anticipating, capturing, and mitigating impacts to scope, timeline, and budget
- Agile methodology knowledge including SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban
- Product Lifecycle Management understanding
- Proficiency with MS Office and working knowledge of Jira/Jira Align and Confluence
- Experience with Planview, Delivery Central, and Lucid is considered an asset
