Customer Experience Specialist – Tesla – Vancouver, BC
Location: Vancouver, BC | Company: Tesla
Vancouver is home to one of Tesla’s showrooms, and right now they’re looking for a Customer Experience Specialist to join the team. This is a front-facing role where you’ll be the first person a guest meets when they walk through the door — and the last person they see when they drive away in their new Tesla. If you thrive in a customer-first environment and have a genuine interest in sustainable energy and electric vehicles, this posting is worth a closer look.
This isn’t a traditional retail job. You’ll be guiding customers through one of the most significant purchases of their lives, from an initial showroom visit all the way through to vehicle delivery. You’ll conduct demo drives, walk new owners through their vehicle’s features, and help build a sales pipeline — all while representing a brand that’s reshaping the transportation industry.
About the Role: Customer Experience Specialist
As a Customer Experience Specialist at Tesla’s Vancouver location, your day centres around connecting with guests at every stage of their buying journey. You’ll engage walk-in visitors with a personalized approach, ask thoughtful questions to understand their needs, and curate tailored experiences — including demo drives and Full Self-Driving demonstrations. When a customer takes delivery of their new vehicle, you’ll lead the orientation, making sure they leave feeling confident and excited.
Beyond customer interactions, you’ll play an active role in supporting the sales pipeline by capturing guest information, scheduling test drives, and flagging high-intent buyers. You’ll be expected to stay current on EV industry trends and local incentives, and to bring a strong sense of reliability and team spirit to everything you do. This role also requires the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and you must hold a valid Class 5, G or G2 driver’s licence in Canada. Additionally, since this position is based in BC, you’ll need to possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle salesperson licence/certificate issued by the provincial regulator — this is a condition of employment.
Benefits and Salary
Tesla offers a competitive total compensation package for this role. While specific salary figures for this posting aren’t listed, employees at Tesla typically have access to a range of benefits that reflect the company’s commitment to its workforce. You’ll be joining a team driven by a clear mission and working in one of the most innovative sectors in the world.
