Responsibilities
Working as a Consumables Associate at Walmart means you’re at the centre of both the stockroom and the salesfloor. Your responsibilities span customer service, merchandising, and operational tasks — all of which keep the store running smoothly and customers coming back.
- Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner upon entering or engaging in the department

- Price and sign merchandise accurately in accordance with company standards
- Handle claims and returns properly, secure merchandise, identify high-shrink items, and uphold a safe work environment
- Receive and stock merchandise, operate equipment appropriately, and complete required paperwork and documentation
- Stock, downstock, and pick merchandise as needed; apply product protection where required and complete modular sets including flex modulars and new shelf caps
