About the Role: Consultant, Promo Programs
As a Promotional Programs Consultant, you’ll be responsible for developing customer-centric promotional strategies that support Canadian Tire’s Customer Centric Growth (CCG) initiatives. Your day-to-day will involve guiding the creative vision of the national flyer — from theme development and layout direction to translating seasonal priorities into compelling, customer-facing content. You’ll work directly with Merchandising, Promo Planning, Production, and Creative teams to keep everything running smoothly.
This is a collaborative role that requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage in-season changes without losing sight of the bigger picture. You’ll draw on customer insights, data, and competitive intelligence to sharpen storytelling and support high-quality print and digital executions — all while maintaining creative integrity under tight deadlines.
Benefits and Salary
Canadian Tire offers a broadband salary range of $53,000 to $88,000, with a typical hiring range of $53,000 to $70,000 depending on experience, industry benchmarks, and internal equity. Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be driving the end-to-end planning and execution of promotional content that reaches millions of Canadian households. From developing weekly flyer strategies to managing Seasonal Guide production, your work directly impacts how customers engage with Canadian Tire’s offerings across print and digital channels.
- Develop customer-focused promotional strategies for the weekly national flyer and portfolio-specific Seasonal Guides
- Lead theme development, layout direction, and creative planning aligned to category, seasonal, and CCG priorities
- Translate flyer calendar themes into customer-facing layouts and clear creative guidelines
- Collaborate with Promo Planning, Production, and Creative teams to manage page flow and deliver high-quality print and digital executions
- Manage in-season content changes and resolve issues while maintaining creative integrity
- Leverage customer insights, data, and competitive intelligence to inform storytelling and layout decisions
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with Merchandising, Promo Planning, Production, Creative, and Corporate partners
- Support ongoing process improvements in flyer and guide planning workflows
Requirements / Skills

- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
