This casual, part-time warehouse role at FedEx’s Whitby location centres around freight handling within the facility. The shift starts between 3am and 4am (currently running 4am to 9am), and you’ll be required to work on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Responsibilities
As a Casual Package Handler, your day-to-day work takes place inside the FedEx facility where speed and accuracy matter. Each shift contributes directly to on-time package delivery across the FedEx network, so attention to detail and physical readiness are both equally important.
- Load and unload freight as packages move through the facility
- Scan packages accurately to maintain tracking integrity throughout the system
- Sort freight efficiently to ensure correct routing and timely processing
- Manoeuvre packages weighing up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment
- Complete all mandatory training and recurrency programs as required by FedEx
- Operate in a PC Windows environment as part of standard facility operations

Requirements / Skills

- High School Diploma or GED preferred but not strictly required
