Responsibilities

The Carrier Planner Analyst plays a pivotal role in keeping Canadian Tire’s transportation network running efficiently. From evaluating carrier contracts to analyzing KPIs, every task you take on directly influences the cost-effectiveness and reliability of the supply chain. • Identify and action continuous improvement opportunities across transportation processes using established methodologies
• Analyze data and processes across a range of complexity levels, presenting clear findings, key issues, and potential solutions to stakeholders
• Develop and present cost/benefit analyses and provide input on business process or technical issues
• Evaluate carrier contract offers and support the creation and presentation of negotiation materials
• Monitor key performance indicators to identify areas of concern and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address them
• Provide feedback on the quality of the transportation plan, including delivery templates based on road, rail, and barge operations
• Maintain current knowledge of Canadian transportation acts and regulations, including the Transportation of Dangerous Goods requirements
• Contribute to or lead business request investigations and assess cost or feasibility of requirements

Requirements / Skills
