About the Role: Cake Decorator

Responsibilities
The Cake Decorator role at Costco covers a full range of bakery production tasks. You’ll be expected to work efficiently and consistently, upholding Costco’s standards for quality and presentation with every product that leaves your station.

- Fulfil member special orders by reading order details to determine flavours, colours, and decorative patterns; contact members when instructions are unclear
- Prepare cheesecakes by removing from baking pans, placing on cake pads, and applying toppings and garnishes per Costco formulas
- Operate equipment including the whipping cream machine and cake slicing machine
- Slice fresh fruit for application to baked products
- Box and transfer cakes by assembling cardboard cake boxes, boxing finished cakes, and transferring racks to the cooler, freezer, or wrapping area
- Maintain a clean workstation and follow all safety and security procedures throughout the shift
- Assist with other bakery duties and warehouse tasks as needed, while providing prompt, courteous member service
Requirements / Skills
