Responsibilities

- Assemble and measure large quantities of ingredients accurately according to Costco bakery formulas, using a calculator to adjust yields as needed

- Mix and prepare batter, frosting, and fillings using industrial power mixers
- Roll, cut, and shape dough for a variety of breads and pastry products; transfer raw product to raising rooms
- Monitor and operate large production ovens, removing baked goods to cooling racks at the appropriate time
- Maintain sanitation standards by monitoring temperatures, pull dates, and complying with health codes and safety procedures
- Follow department production procedures to ensure quality and consistency of all finished bakery products
- Deliver prompt and courteous service to Costco members and assist with additional bakery duties as required
Requirements / Skills
