About the Role: Associate Manager, Paid Social
At its core, this role is about channel ownership and performance accountability. You’ll be responsible for the quality of paid social execution, ensuring campaigns are delivered accurately, data is captured correctly, and insights are actionable. You’ll consult on tactical strategy within integrated media plans and apply retail and omni-channel best practices to audience strategy, creative direction, and ongoing optimization.
Beyond campaign work, this position carries meaningful people leadership responsibilities. You’ll develop, train, and mentor team members on platform execution, reporting, and partner communication — while also ensuring the team follows established processes and excellence frameworks. Cross-functional collaboration with Planning, Creative, and Analytics teams is a regular part of the role.
Benefits and Salary
The typical hiring range for this role is between $33.00 and $54.00 per hour, with final compensation based on experience, skills, and market conditions. Responsibilities
This role covers a broad range of activities from campaign execution and performance reporting to team development and vendor management. Success is measured across both delivery quality and business outcomes, making it essential to stay sharp on both the strategic and operational sides of paid social.
- Own paid social channel delivery, ensuring consistent execution, reporting, and actionable insights across all platforms
- Lead the paid social pod, managing priorities, workload balance, and campaign delivery timelines
- Consult on tactical strategy for the paid social portion of integrated media plans
- Manage vendor relationships, driving alignment, performance, and partner satisfaction
- Execute performance-driven campaigns focused on traffic, conversion, and revenue in a retail and eCommerce environment
- Apply retail and omni-channel best practices to audience strategy, creative guidance, and campaign optimization
- Lead test-and-learn initiatives, contributing to ongoing improvements in channel performance
- Develop and mentor team members on platform execution, reporting, insights, and partner communication
- Ensure accurate data capture, tagging, and measurement across paid social platforms and CTC digital properties

Requirements / Skills
The ideal candidate brings deep paid social expertise combined with proven experience in a retail or eCommerce environment. You’re comfortable leading a team, owning vendor relationships, and operating within a large, cross-functional organization where strong communication and process discipline are key.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of paid social experience, with agency experience preferred
- Retail and/or eCommerce background running performance-focused paid social campaigns
- Hands-on platform expertise across Meta, TikTok, Snap, Reddit, and Pinterest
- Expert-level proficiency in Google Analytics
- Experience leading or mentoring teams and managing vendor relationships
- Strong grasp of media buying, measurement, and reporting methodologies
- Ability to work effectively in a complex, cross-functional organization
