About the Role: Assistant Team Leader
As an Assistant Team Leader at Dollarama’s Winnipeg location, you’ll be a key part of the store’s daily operations. You’ll support the management team with everything from staff supervision and cash management to ensuring the store meets its presentation and safety standards. When acting as manager on duty, you’ll be responsible for overseeing breaks, tracking attendance, and handling opening and closing procedures.

Responsibilities
The Assistant Team Leader role at Dollarama covers a wide range of store operations tasks. You’ll be working alongside the management team to keep things running efficiently, stepping up as manager on duty when needed, and helping maintain the high standards Dollarama is known for across all its locations.
- Assist management with day-to-day store operations and staff coordination
- Process daily shipments by boxing and unboxing incoming merchandise
- Stock shelves with daily products in compliance with Dollarama’s presentation standards
- Deliver customer service and resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner
- Uphold safety and cleanliness standards throughout the store
- Manage on-duty tasks including tracking daily breaks and entering attendance records
- Perform cash management along with store opening and closing duties as required
- Support employee training by participating in the onboarding process for new team members
Requirements / Skills
