Responsibilities
The Assistant Team Leader role at Dollarama is hands-on and varied. You’ll move between supervisory tasks and floor-level work throughout your shift, ensuring the store meets both operational and customer service standards on a daily basis.
- Support store management in overseeing daily store operations and coordinating staff activities
- Process daily shipments by boxing and unboxing deliveries efficiently
- Stock shelves with daily products in compliance with Dollarama’s presentation standards
- Deliver strong customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly
- Uphold safety and cleanliness standards throughout the store at all times
- Conduct manager-on-duty tasks, including confirming daily breaks are taken and logging attendance accurately
- Manage cash operations and perform store opening and closing duties as required
- Participate in training new employees and supporting their onboarding into store routines
