Area Manager – Amazon – Bolton, ON

Amazon is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Area Manager to join our Operations Team in Bolton, ON. As an Area Manager, you will lead a team of hourly associates, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met while delivering exceptional service to Amazon customers.

This role is critical to Amazon’s supply chain, spanning First Mile, Middle Mile, and Last Mile logistics. You will oversee warehouse operations, drive productivity, and maintain a highly efficient work environment.

About the Role: Area Manager – Bolton, ON

As an Area Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for:

• Leading, mentoring, and motivating hourly associates to ensure high performance and a positive work environment.
• Managing safety protocols, quality assurance, productivity metrics, and customer satisfaction.
• Working with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and HR, to drive business objectives.
• Handling physical tasks, such as lifting up to 49 pounds, walking/standing for up to 12 hours, and working in environments with variable temperatures.
• Ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced and dynamic warehouse setting.

Requirements / Skills

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in employee and performance management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon FTE experience.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
