About the Role

As an Amazon Fresh Grocery Associate, your primary goal is to provide an exceptional shopping experience. We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about customer interaction, have a deep interest in food, and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment. Key tasks will include stocking shelves, assisting customers, and fulfilling online grocery orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Greet customers, engage in conversations, and assist with their shopping needs.
• Product Knowledge: Provide customers with product recommendations and information to aid in their decisions.
• Checkout Operations: Use cash registers for customer transactions and assist in self-service lanes.
• Return Processing: Handle in-store and Amazon.com returns efficiently.
• Fresh Food Preparation: Prepare food items such as salads, pizzas, rotisserie chickens, and sandwiches.
• Store Presentation: Stock shelves, set up merchandise displays, and maintain a clean sales floor.
• Inventory Management: Unload product deliveries and organize the stockroom.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack items for customer grocery orders.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform duties safely in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.

Working Conditions

Must be able to lift up to 49 lbs and stand or walk for the duration of shifts (up to 8 hours).
