Agentic AI Program Manager – Canadian Tire – Toronto, ON

Location: Toronto, ON | Company: Canadian Tire

Canadian Tire Corporation is on a mission to build something significant — a foundational Agentic AI platform that will reshape how one of Canada’s most recognized retail enterprises designs, deploys, and governs AI at scale. Based in Toronto, Ontario, this Agentic AI Program Manager role sits at the centre of that transformation, bridging technical teams, business stakeholders, governance bodies, and senior leadership to bring a complex, fast-moving program to life.

This is a program leadership role, not a hands-on engineering position — but it demands someone who genuinely understands the landscape. You’ll need to be comfortable discussing AI orchestration, agent lifecycle management, responsible AI governance, observability, and cloud platform capabilities while translating those concepts into clear executive communications and structured delivery plans. If you thrive in ambiguity and know how to create order out of complexity, this could be the right fit.

About the Role: Agentic AI Program Manager

As the Agentic AI Program Manager, you’ll lead the enterprise program responsible for building and maturing Canadian Tire’s foundational AI platform — ensuring it’s developed as a reusable, enterprise-grade capability rather than a one-off implementation. You’ll manage integrated plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies while coordinating across architecture, engineering, security, privacy, data, cloud, and business stakeholder groups. The role also covers platform readiness and adoption, including onboarding materials, delivery playbooks, and operating models.

You’ll partner closely with technical teams to understand current and emerging platform capabilities — from Microsoft Foundry and agent hosting to identity integration, model access, observability, and CI/CD pipelines. A key part of the role involves tracking and escalating delivery dependencies and platform maturity gaps, and providing concise, well-structured updates to senior leaders on progress, trade-offs, funding considerations, and roadmap needs. You’ll also lead, coach, and support team members or matrixed contributors working across the program.
