Available across Amazon Canada‘s vast network of fulfilment centres, sort centres, and delivery stations, this Operations Manager role offers a genuine fast-track into executive-level leadership with one of the world’s most complex operations organizations.

You’ll lead front-line teams, drive continuous process improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional partners across technology, engineering, and supply chain. About the Role: MBA Pathways Operations Manager

The Pathways program unfolds in three progressive steps. You’ll begin as an Area Manager, leading 50–100 associates on the floor of a world-class operations facility and building your leadership foundation. From there, you’ll advance to Operations Manager, taking on responsibility for developing other managers and driving site-wide process improvements. The final step — Senior Operations Manager — positions you as a senior leader capable of executing regional or network-level initiatives, from launching new business lines to running entire sites. Pathways graduates can ultimately lead organizations of nearly 4,000 people and manage labour budgets exceeding $2.5 million per week.

This is a demanding, hands-on role that requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts, particularly during peak operational periods. Candidates must be willing to relocate within Canada, as placement is driven by business need across Amazon’s national operations network. Successful candidates will be matched to a site by their recruiter prior to receiving an offer.

Benefits and Salary

This position offers a starting salary of $119,800 CAD annually in Toronto. Total compensation for the Pathways program includes three elements: base pay, a sign-on bonus paid over the first two years, and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Responsibilities

As a Pathways Operations Manager at Amazon, your day-to-day work sits at the intersection of people leadership, operational strategy, and continuous improvement. You’ll be entrusted with real business challenges that directly impact Amazon’s customers and operations network across Canada.

• Lead and coach your team by fostering a culture of accountability, high performance, and customer obsession
• Partner with senior leadership to identify and solve complex business and operational challenges, thinking both strategically and tactically
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing operational data, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing scalable solutions
• Make real-time decisions in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
• Collaborate cross-functionally with technology, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve end-to-end processes
• Develop other managers as you progress through the program, building leadership capacity across your site and region
• Execute network-level initiatives in the senior phase, potentially launching new business lines or overseeing entire facilities

Requirements / Skills

• 3+ years of professional or military experience demonstrating progressively increasing responsibility
• MBA or equivalent Master’s degree — currently enrolled or completed within the past 24 months
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as operational demands require
• Willingness to relocate within Canada at the time of hire, based on site placement needs
• Preferred: MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or a related discipline
• Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Systems, or Computer Engineering)
