About the Role: Team Leader
This position puts you in charge of guiding and supporting store associates on a daily basis, ensuring that customer service standards, visual merchandising, and store safety are all consistently upheld. You’ll take on manager-on-duty tasks, which include overseeing break schedules, time and attendance, and addressing any customer concerns that arise during your shift.
Beyond day-to-day floor duties, you’ll also play a role in the training and performance evaluation of employees, participate in inventory processes, and contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the store. Strong communication and the ability to manage your time effectively across competing priorities are essential in this role.
Benefits and Salary

Responsibilities
The Team Leader role at Dollarama covers a wide range of operational and people-management tasks. You’ll be expected to lead by example on the floor while keeping the store running efficiently and ensuring every customer has a positive experience.
- Lead and supervise store associates, offering day-to-day guidance, direction, and support
- Manage store merchandising, including shelf stocking and handling daily incoming shipments
- Uphold customer service standards and address complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Perform manager-on-duty tasks, including managing daily breaks, time, and attendance
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards in line with company strategy
- Ensure store safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met
- Carry out cash management, as well as store opening and closing duties as required
- Participate in inventory processes and contribute to stock accuracy
- Support employee development by participating in training and performance evaluations
Requirements / Skills
