About the Role: Team Leader
As a Team Leader at Dollarama, you’ll take on a mix of hands-on retail tasks and supervisory responsibilities. You’ll also act as a manager on duty, handling break scheduling, time and attendance, and addressing any customer concerns that arise during your shift.

Responsibilities
The Team Leader role at Dollarama covers a broad range of daily tasks that keep the store operating efficiently and delivering a consistent shopping experience. You’ll split your time between supervising associates, managing merchandise, and ensuring service standards are consistently met.
- Lead and supervise store associates, offering day-to-day guidance and support to keep the team on track
- Oversee store merchandising, including shelf stocking and boxing and unboxing daily shipments
- Ensure customer service standards are maintained throughout the store at all times
- Act as manager on duty, handling daily breaks, time, and attendance tracking
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards in line with company strategy
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Uphold store safety and cleanliness standards and contribute to ongoing maintenance
- Perform cash management duties, including store opening and closing procedures as needed
- Participate in inventory processes and employee training and performance evaluations
